All settings are correct, I changed nothing. All of the sudden I cannot get any sort of an alert that I have a new email. The emails arrive just fine, except that I don't know about them until I look, no tone, vibration, LED or anything. I tried resending the service books and a battery pull to no avail, what else can I try?

what OS are you running? how long was the battery pull for? when the first battery pull doesnt work, i occasionally have to do a full 60 second pull.

4.7.1.57, And pulled the battery for at least 30 seconds, I will try again for 60 seconds and see if it helps, this is driving me insane. Thanks for your help!

if it doesnt help, sorry to say, but you may need to wipe and reinstall the OS. actually, you can just upgrade to .61 and that should fix it.

well, I'm within my 30 days of purchase, and have already had problems with this stupid phone, I'm going to exchange it for a new one..... Tour #2 is on it's way...

Are you sure that you aren't accidentally in bedside mode? If you are, that might be the problem.

Are you using any kind of alert application? Try turning that off, and possibly deleting and reinstalling it to see if that helps.
