All of a sudden my alert sounds have disappeared as well as the ringing of the phone. I have checked all of the setting and everything is as it should be? I have it set to alert me when I get a new email, along with the key tone and the audible roll of the trackball. When receiving a call, there is no sound. Sound profile is on normal, any idea what happened?

Have you tried preforming a reboot?

Pull the battery out, wait 15-30 seconds, pop the battery back in and boot the phone back up.

Majority of the time when this happens to me on my Cruve, a reboot is all that is required.

I read that somewhere on this site before, and it has become by golden rule when it comes to my blackberry

This is a recurring bug.. The audio player just stops working, killing alerts, media player, etc. Hopefully it will be fixed soon!
