i upgraded to the official spring 484 os but the alarm is acting weird. it goes off 10 minutes after the time i set it for quite frequently.

    has anyone else noticed this?

    F40,

At least you're getting an alarm. On a Mac, using DM for Mac, and my alarms went away completely on 4.7.1.61. Haven't been able to fix. If anybody knows a way, please help.

so i set the snooze for 15 minutes and this morning it went off 15 minutes late. so its not a 10 minute difference its a whatever the snooze is difference. tomorrow morning gonna set the phone up across the room instead of on my nightstand and see what happens.

If you're hitting snooze while asleep, that's not that bad. At least twice, I've managed to "Dismiss" my alarm without being consciously aware I did it. Then I wake up hours late.

When I had the official 4.7..my alarm would go off 5 minutes late....I've gotten so used to it..I just my alarms 5 minutes earlier.
I've since then upgraded to .530 and it works fine now

Possibly a better non-disruptive nor job-loss method - why not set the alarm for an idle part of your day when you don't need it and see what it does. That, of course, depends on whether the potential bug is only for early morning alarms.

Heres an idea...go to options-->date/time and make sure it's set to use network time.

Do like I do and set a standalone alarm clock across the room also, so you have to get up to deal with it...

My alarm is going off late as well, but mine seems to be a bit more random. I set the alarm and watched it on the table beside me and it went off anywhere from 5 to 10 to 18 minutes late. I have Addonis which autolocks my phone but I wouldn't think that would affect the alarm going off. I only had this anomaly after upgrading to OS 5.0.0.484
