You would have to check to see if Bell has roaming agreements with the carrier's in Israel.

I was there in January, and with my Verizon 8330, had excellent CDMA coverage everywhere I went.

Hey, i'm rite next door in EGYPT & my BB works fine! Vodafone & Mobinil are our big carriers, and i can put either sim cards in my BB and it will work, so i'm pretty sure it should work in Israel...i also used mine not only in Egypt but in Istanbul as well and it worked! as long as your carrier uses SIM cards it will work!
