.732 and Battery Life
Greetings!
After reading a few positive reports, I decided to give .732 a try. Up to this point I had been using Sprints .484, and had been very happy with it.
The update consisted of my plugging the phone into DM, and accepting the update. Everything went smoothly, and pretty quickly, and 3rd party apps were all restored.
Everything seems to be running well, and I actually believe my default browser is a bit quicker. Cheers to Verizon!
But during the day today, I noticed that my battery drain has REALLY increased. With normal usage, I found myself running out of juice around 4.30pm. Normally I dont have any battery issues, and just plug it in when I go to bed around midnight.
I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem. Also, is it possible that a clean install with a wipe first, may help?
Any suggestions appreciated.

732 gets a thumbs down. Terrible battery drain, Browser gets stuck in "Requesting" although Opera is a bit better. Click issue is fixed. Signal strength fluctuates.

I haven't noticed a battery drain problem, but I have had the browser get stuck in "Requesting" a time or two. I can't say for sure that it was an OS issue though.

My battery life (according to meterberry) has improved about 10% with .732. Of course this does not account for daily usage variation. I do know that memory drain has been reduced down from 5mb per day to less than 1mb per day resulting in no memory related battery pulls since upgrade. I am very pleased with this new OS performance so far.

I am actually happy with battery life. It's better than 643 for me and I'm a texting ***** (8000/month last month).

I have observed in the various threads on this OS both better and worse battery life for users. I can only guess it has to do with applications loaded or how the Tour reacts to varied signal strength or what are the inherent differences in these different Tours?

Battery life for me has been no better or worse than 643. I just plan on charging at the end of everyday.
However the native browser is amazingly fast for me, much better than 643. It works so well, I wouldn't consider installing OM or Bolt.
