Seems like I'm one of the few who isn't upgrading to the Bold version. Are there a lot of issues with release .624 for Sprint? I'm still on 484 and don't want to update if there are small yet permanently annoying bugs. Thanks.

I would suggest 732 from Verizon. Some people report bad battery life, but its the best so far for me. My signal fluctuation isn't as bad as it was with the Sprint OSes.

I don't remember if 624 had the browser click issue or not, something tells me it did.

I suggest sticking to whatever works for you. If .484 isn't giving you problems then stick with it buDDy

I upgraded to .624 and yes it does have the browser click. But it works ok. In retrospect i would also have stayed with .484

I would stick with .484. I tried .624 and had the browser click issue as well as double the reboot time. I've tried all the latest leaks and nothing works as well for me as .484.

i currently on Driphter 9630 Dv12.1 732/834/6.0.0.31/6.0.0.100 public release because a failed .732 install. the .624 wasn't anything impressive i very soon after the ota install updated to .643 where i had very poor gps and often my phone wouldn't sync at all. .662 worked pretty well. honestly it was just the tempting os 6 files stuck in there that got me on the hybrid

.484 is the original os my phone came with and was admittedly very good. Since the tempting new os rolls out it may be come tricky to pick.

Battery life is definitely any issue with Sprint's .624. It seems like I have to keep my phone constantly charging or if not it'll die. Sometimes it loses up to 20% in just standby mode. You also have the browser clicking issue and the dreaded start-up time. I didn't know about Verizon's .732 until recently so I'll be trying that out soon.

Driphter 12.1 or Willyboy v6 are great hybrids.

I'm actually using Driphter 12 which is based on 732.

For you guys running 12.1, do you like it better over 12?

Not trying to hijack this thread but after reading it and really beginning to hate the issues on .624 I decided I really wanted to get on either .484 or .732 and try them out. But yesterday after downloading .732 and running it, it would tell me that I have no new updates and wouldn't let me update to anything else. I was pressed for time so I couldn't do much else last night so it would be helpful is someone could explain to me how to get on a different version of 5.0. **** I might even try out those hybrid os's.

Since its the highest version, you probably have to go into your Add/Remove programs and uninstall "Blackberry Device Software 5.x" (its worded something like that).

Then you can install the new one and it should go through the Loader.

I usually use ShrinkAOS and remove unused languages, then click on "Launch Loader" and load it from there.

Driphter 12.1 is better then 12.

When you install a new Os always remove the old os, don't us DM but the application loader when installing a new OS on your device. Much less chance on errors

Yeah I got .732 on my Tour and it is definitely better. No battery drain, browser clicking issue, etc.
