Reading mixed reviews.. I feel like my battery drains itself quicker than 4.7. In 10 idle hours, my battery goes down to 4/5.. while in 4.7 it would still be at 5/5.

What's everyone's unbiased opinion of their battery life after the 5.0 upgrade?

i upgraded to 5.0 the first day i got my tour.. but OS upgrades have ALWAYS helped battery life out(prior blackberrys).

I would say that 5.0.0.230 is the best thing that ever happened to my battery, besides turning the screen brightness from 100 to 10%.

I would highly suggest upgrading to .230, threaded sms is awesome and quicker reboots!!!!

Yeah.. the threaded sms and quicker reboots are the only things I notice anyways lol

There are also many little things, like menu differences and icons and such.

yeah the first day or so i also had the same issue with worse battery life...but after a battery pull and fresh charge i am seeing improved battery life.. i am currently coming to the end of day2 on my battery and it is at 52%.

I'm running on .323. I've been playing with my Storm all day and my battery is still at 70%. Maybe its not the OS.....

Only difference with .230 for me is autostandby keeps disabling unlike it did on 4.7. Therefore my battery life isn't AS good but still more than adequate.

Eh, I'm still weary of that upgraded leak, may be something to try soon. Turning screen brightness to 10% huh? Can you still see anything?? lol

i have .33 my screen has never went to 10%
