    i second this, did a backup before, checked DM before i decided to screw it and just go ahead and OTA it.

    Apparently if y ou are not using an authorized version, the newer one will not be provided to you. I am presently downgrading to 4.7 and hope that remedies this problem.

    After downgrading to 4.7, the 5.0 was made available on DM. Progress 11 of 12 through DM. Hoping it all comes out good.

    OTA=mistake lol takes forever...
    berry is restarting with nice black blackberry screen with white progress bar instead of the ugly white screen with blue bar!

    That is what I did. There are several others who suggested this as well. I connected to DM and downgraded to 4.7 (preferred).When it finished i clicked on updates again and it showed me 5.0. Not once did I dicsonnect from the USB cord. Good luck.

    I hope upgrading via OTA doesnt need that.

    Why will it not let me upgrade wirelessly on my phone? Its says that 5.0.0.484 is available to upgrade but the .591 everyone is talking about is no there. When I go to click on the .484 it tells me that I cannot do it wirelessly and go to DM but Im having too many problems with DM. Is there anything special I have to do to get it to just download via my phone wirelessly?

    oh that sucks. I just finished downloading OTA and it's restoring now. Cant wait!
