i'll double check it later, but from what i remember (and read carefully) it said device software. i'm already on DM 5.0.1

Just installed on my girl's brand new Tour (literally right out of the box) and it has been working flawlessly for several days.

its not....whenever you are with a carrier and it is the leak from that carrier, it will show there is an update after you download it

A couple of things make me lean towards something other than this being an official 5.0 release:

1. Sprint still shows 4.7.1 as the official version for the Tour (which is the carrier your profile indicates).
2. Version 5.0.230 has been posted as a leaked version.
3. Other Sprint Tour owners haven't been busting loose letting everyone know that 5.0 is available for the Tour. There have been no posts by the Crackberry folks, which there always are when there's a new release.


But hey...install it and see how it goes.

well i guess it's nothing new. just installed it and it turned out to be .230....

my bad! i guess i just got excited that there was a 5.0 update that was directly from RIM...
