the unofficial version has been working for me for a few days with no problems, although the wait for the official release cannot be that much longer.

I dont think there any bugs really. If so they must be very minor. Everyone on .230 seems really happy with it. Im running .57 and happy for now. Im just waiting for an Official 5.0

There are official threads to discuss bugs in as well as the release itself. The official release is not out and we do not know when it will be out. Please use search next time there's at least 100 threads asking the same thing you are asking and getting the same answer.

THe only remaining bug for me on 230 is one that makes it so Shazam won't work. All the other apps that had been having problems on 5.0 are fixed. Other then that the 5.0 is really great for me compared to 4.7.

Only bugs I have had so far with .230 is whenever I do a reset, soft or full on battery pull, my wallpaper resets. Other than that, I think it is great!

oS 5.0.230 gave me 2 bugs so far.

1st bug. The media folder says "net_rim_bb_file_explorer.media" instead of just saying "media." I created a new folder just saying "media" but it wont let me delete the old folder and when i select media home, it takes me to that messed up folder.

2.s bug. Whenver i receive and open a text, i exit it and the text is still bold as if it was never opened.

Imma use BBSA to wipe my phone clean and will reinstall it with 5.0 for the last time. If it doesnt work then i guess i can wait for 2 months or so until official 5.0 comes out.

I wouldn't classify either of those as bugs.



1. 5.0 for the Tour is still in beta form, therefore not every feature or folder has had the finishing touches applied yet.

2. Threaded SMS is a "conversation" format. Therefore messages will be in bold as long as the conversation is active. There is a little notification bubble to the left of the message thats blue when message is unread and turns white after message has been read.

pandora released a new version so that is fixed.

media player has a problem playing audio. when listening to consecutive songs, the second song is mute until you pause and press play again.

aside from that, and sometimes jumpy signal, i have no issues. works great!

i agree threaded sms is a little slow sometimes, but it's better than no threaded sms.
