.419 just put a SMS in the wrong 'thread'! That is, I had a thread going with friend #1, and got an off-topic SMS from that friend. Turns out friend #2 sent it and the OS put it in the #1's thread!

This is bad... very very bad. Even worse if it's sending out SMSs to the wrong people. My wife and my girlfriend are going to be very annoyed.

It appears this has been discussed before.

Warning: if you absolutely must have all your SMSs go to the right people, do NOT upgrade to .419. It will conflate your SMS messages and you won't know who is sending what.

thanks for clarifying... this only occurs when you receive a text while texting someone else? or does this happen randomly?

I had this issue with sms messages that were in my inbox at the time of installing .419 (which were restored from the backup at the end of installing .419). I cleared out my inbox and outbox and have not had a problem since.

I did a total wipe of the phone beforehand. Still happened. Sometime it happens, sometimes it doesn't. Totally random.
