Personally, I'm not a huge fan on slider phones and it really doesn't look all that appealing to me.

Would you consider purchasing the "Slider"? I know that there isn't any specs on it yet, but based on looks alone? And we could probably say for sure that the specs will be worthy.

If I wanted that form factor I would get a pre...but I really like the idea of a horizontal slider.......not a vertical one.

I think that I would get this phone. I like the idea of a touch screen phone abd the physical keyboard. Prior to seeing this one, I really had no interest in touch screen phones at all.

this device has the "cool factor" attached to it. rim is definitely letting people know that blackberries can be considered "cool" like an iphone. i would buy it because of this reason and im a gadget guy.

Nahh its a real ugly looking phone, I'm surprised RIM made this, their recent phones are so rediculouly good looking. (Especially the 9700)

After dealing with the Storm2 and how awesome that is, I would rather wait for a fully Touch phone without slider than one with. Never been a fan of the sliders. I will probably wait for the Storm3 (and hope Kevin is right when he says that this probably is not it) and then get that.

No way. Slider is a great concept, but in the real world, it will fail.I left sliders behind and jumped to RIM swearing off sliders forever. They always malfunction...

I'll be reading the reviews carefully to make sure there isn't another Storm 5930 fiasco but the odds are good I will be getting this as soon as it comes out :-)

I have not actually held one and used one yet to know if I would get it, but I would certanly look at it.

It is the only possible device we know thats coming that would fill the void between the Bold and the Storm. And trust me, thats a big void!
