I've been looking around and haven't found an answer. I run a radio, dual-band router at home and was wondering if the Torch supports wifi N at 5.0ghz. Thanks in advance!

The Torch supports Wireless N but only on the 2.4Ghz band.

The torch does not support the 5Ghz band, but does support the 2.4Ghz band. You are thus limited to 150Mbps, but actually hitting this limit given the storage media inside the torch would be difficult.

Essentially, dual band wireless N support is not necessary.

Yeah, you will never really utilize all that data at once but at least it connects and works fine on N networks, heck even my 9700 did

The 9700 does not work on N network. If you set your router to N only, it will not connect.

Interesting thread... FYI: my Torch has no problems connecting to any wifi I have come across. My D-Link router DIR-655 works just fine and I checked - it has the latest firmware and is connecting with my Torch using "N" at 2.4 Ghz, and the datarate is 39 Mb/sec. Seems perfectly fine for me.
