    No EDGE only, they have different 3G bands than ATT does.

    Penz if correct. Make sure that T-mobile places the correct data plan in order for your internet, email, etc to work

    It will work but can't be 3g, only edge.

    I got a torch from best buy, unlocked it, and use it now with T-Mobile.

    let me tell you dude, is as fast as it was my bold 9700 with edge. you will see no difference guaranteed.

    Agreed. I went from my Pearl to an Android to try the 3G and the only difference I noticed was I had more dropped calls on 3G than EDGE. Back to EDGE with my Torch, and I love it.
