With the recent leaks of BB 7.0 for the yet-to-be-announced 9850, has anyone tried to extract the .cod files for the hotspot in BB 7.0 and install them in a 9800? I have not ventured in the custom ROM arena, so I am wondering if anyone that is better with the custom ROM's has tried this?
Is it really hardware support or software support thats needed? I think its really just software support. Tethering through bluetooth and wifi works fine so I don't see why wifi sharing or some type of bluetooth internet sharing wouldn't work.
