i recently unlocked my blackberry torch 9800 from at&t and when i connect the phone to my wifi it wont work with whatsapp, facebook etc, it only works with the browser, if i activate data plan on my phone it works fine but with wifi it dont, what is the problem do i need to activate any service book ? to allow my wifi to work with every app on my phone?

Some apps don't work with just WiFi, that's the nature of the old BIS services.
