    My google maps is stuck in some kind of loop that I can't kill.

    We definitely need a force kill of some type

    Not sure I'd classify it as "force kill" but you can just press and hold the red power button for 5sec to force a soft reboot. Usually works for me if I get something that freezes up.

    I am pretty sure that are some task manager apps that can kill at least 3rd party apps. If I were you I would do a BP then remove and re-install Google Maps. That certainly is not normal behavior.

    I think it would be great if there was a task manager like app that would allow you to kill apps that are running.

    To clarify: I think it would be great to have a task manager like app without having to wear a secret decoder ring to get into the engineering screens.
