anyone know of a way to make it like the iphones? ex. when you press the number button to show the numbers it stays on that keyboard view until you press it again. I know you can lock the number key by holding it but the delay for it to lock messes up the quick typing.
Nope, that's the way to do it. I'm not sure how that forces any more of a delay in typing than holding down the alt key and pressing the shift key to get numbers on the physical keyboard. It seems to take the same amount of time for me. It's a little bit easier, in fact, since it's only one thumb.
Roll your finger from the number button to the shift button and it will lock the numbers just like the physical keyboard. Then press the number button again when finished.
There is a delay. You must waite for the numbers to popup about 2secs before you can tap a number. The alt key on the keboard doesn't require you to wait
