    I think I have decided to get a 9780 so I'm asking how do I transfer my phone (including BBM) contacts and SMS messages to my new device? Desktop Manager will do the job for me?

    First search this site for the answer. DM will do the job. There is a backup and restore function in DM.

    Use the "Switch Device" option under the device tab on the Desktop Software. I used it recently and it's very handy, transfers everything for you.
