    My Torch 9800 is periodically creating multiple ( from 20 to 80) reply messages that are not being sent. They do not show up on my laptop so I am wondering if I have a virus or ? on my Torch. I deleted and reloaded my email address (ATT sbcglobal.net address) but it's still doing it. Thoughts?

    Thanks in advance

    Welcome to the forums!

    Deleting your email from the device won't work as whatever is creating the emails is still there. Try these:

    1. Remove the battery. No need to power it off, just yank it out and give it 30 seconds;
    2. Hunt down and locate any app that could be doing it and delete it. Follow up with a battery pull.

    There are no viruses for BBOS, but you could have malicious software installed (and if it's installed, either you or someone with access to your phone did it - you don't catch stuff with BBOS).

    Good luck there!
