When I press the lock button on the top left of my Torch, the screen locks and goes dark, then about 20 seconds later, my Torch unlocks on its own, and the screen lights up and stays lit. Does anyone know why this is happening?
Thanks,
Wes

Do you have a case that may be depressing the button?

mine just started doing the same thing... I lock it, but then it comes on automatically by itself, and wears the battery down...
is anybody running a app like bblight? it will turn it back on based on the settings...
That has happened to mine too. It just does it randomly.
I have a quick question though....Is there any way to lock the screen from switching to landscape mode?
For problems like this we need to you what apps you are running.
Yes. search app world or here on CB for things like SixTools etc... Many apps can "tilt lock".
There are some apps built just for locking the tilt, but there are some like Shansmi mentioned, SixTools, which does more then just locking orientation. I'd say get SixTools to get more convenience keys or QuickLaunch as you can do a lot with that too. As for the lock issue, the best solution I can think of, since I can not figure out why it would do that, is to buy PatternLock or get the lite version. The BackLight might still stay on, but you wouldn't have to worry about calling anyone, or opening apps randomly.
