My wife and I both have the torch. Bought them from the same store. Mine is a Mexico 4, hers a Mexico 5. Hers slower to respond and quirky. Froze a lot. She returned hers and got a 4. She's happier now.

i think any Blackberry with a 6.0.0.141 OS will be slower than the one with an updated OS. ( 6.0.0.246) and all the issues you mentioned point out to a software problem
