Is there a way I can tether my Torch without having to pay AT&T more money that I don't have?

    Thanks all.

There are a few tether apps which are costly. I personally have not used one but maybe some folks have and can give some insight...

yes, set your phone up as a modem in your computer, and dial cingular/att's wap number to connect. Lots of info out there about this.

When you use your phone as a modem through Desktop Manager your carrier knows that you are tethering and it usually uses more data.

but when you use Tether, its disguises your use as your BB using the data.
