    I mean if you get a "wobbly" Torch, or for whatever reason, will they just hand you a new one or will you have to use a loaner and wait?

    They don't do the equipment changes anymore. Apparently customers abused that system. (I blame the Storm, I swapped 3 times myself).

    Now you have to saunter into a corporate store and hand over your phone. They will ship it to RIM for repairs and give you a loaner while you wait 2 - 4 weeks.

    If your torch is brand new (under 14 or possibly 30 days old) they will probably just hand you a new since you're in the return period. If you're over, you will have to ship it to RIM.

    Sucks big time. But at least you get to keep your PIN when everything is said and done.
