Papped raises an excellent point about the Torch in regards to the viability and usability of the device, despite the lack of SurePress, thanks to the TrackPad and keyboard combination. Furthermore, OS6 stands far above OS5, which the Storm2 is stuck with.

I found this one interesting for those who might be interested. Learned something about capacitive versus resistive touchscreens. The Torch might not have HD resolution but it looks like RIM did add some nice touches to the Torch hardware.
I had the Storm2 before I switched to a 9700, which was a step forward IMO. Now I'm using a Torch, and it's truly an amazing device. You'd really enjoy the transition from a Storm to a Torch.

Moved on from Storm to Torch since Storm is stuck with OS 5. Really loving this new device. Nice shape, OS 6 and webkit running very well....only the supplied earphones seems to be of lower quality compared to Storm.

The Storms were great devices. They were the only touchscreen-only devices I could consider using. Their virtual keyboards, especially for the Storm2, were unmatched. Using SureType is far easier on the 9550 compared to the Torch. Alas, the physical keyboard is still superior to any touchscreen keyboard in the first place.

I'm wondering if its worth my money to make the change!
Anything wrong with the Torch?
JP
Yeah, it's a slider Nah, it's fun, snappy and you can actually select links and text. But not a day goes by that I don't think about my S2. Just being honest
I've used the Storm, 9000, 9700 and now the 9800...9800 blows everything away. S2 was/is a huge failure on RIM's part in their bid for the touchscreen market. With the Torch, I can actually do without my Iphone 3GS...
