Who else are waiting for official build (not leaked)? hopefully they come out with East Asian Language

You're waiting for Att, not RIM, they don't release OS'
ridesno159 is correct its not rim ur waiting for its at&t to actual take one and approve it...if u r still waiting a month later trust me and probably 90% of the members u should definately upgrade to one of the other builds...u will notice a day and night difference...waiting for an "official" release from at&t takes forever.
He's waiting for one of the Canadian carriers to put the .246 build up.
I have never installed a leaked os so I have been waiting for one of the cariers to post their build. I am an ATT customer and dont want to wait on ATT. As it appears the released os for the Canadian phones will be .246, will I be able to use the upgrade functionality on the BB web site to upgrade to one of the Canadian carriers os?
Well then he can go get it https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...C068A355BBA31A
It must be installed just like a leak, but with another carriers official build requires you to delete the vendor file, which is more work than a leak. There isn't any difference between an official build and a leak, other than a carrier will support it.
The official version of .246 is available (https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/browseSoftware.do) under Rogers on the blackberry website.
There is no difference between a leak and an official release. If it has the same package version number, you'll get the exact same OS. See http://forums.crackberry.com/f132/ve...-181-a-238534/
Actually, proper link would be:

Does mine not work or something?
So as an ATT user it would be easier to install the leak following the leak instructions that trying to use the BB web site and using another carriers current OS?
It really doesn't matter rain3man. Deleting the vendor file is adding a step, but it's so insignificant it doesn't matter. Just download the OS from the easiest place. The download will probably be faster from the BB website. Following the instructions you mentioned will get you to the same place in the end.
I am downloading from the BB site. Something about a leak I just don't personally trust. Like you don't know what is in that file, lol.
Installing a leak or another carrier's OS is the exact same process. Delete vendor.xml, install.
Considering the leaks are usually are digitally signed, you really had nothing to worry about. Just check the signature before installing. (Right Click > Properties > Digital Signatures)
That is good to know makes me feel better about a leak. Just never sure when not downloading directly from RIM.
FINALLY!!!! With ALL language... so F!@#$ing happy!!! I download now from Telus because Rogers only has Multilanguage and Asia (not sure what it means) while Telus has all language...
do u just delete the vendor file? if you want to install it on att? if so how do u do that ??
While I think this is a totally silly fear - as I've never heard of anything malicious with a "fake" leak here...don't you think after hundreds of users have tried a BETA OS for several days -or even weeks- it's probably just fine?
Follow the installation procedure in my signature at the bottom of this post.
