When I listen to anything on my Torch (radio, music, videos, etc.) and the phone screen times out, each time it wakes up the volume drops to barely audible. Closing-restarting the media or unplugging-replugging the headset returns the proper volume.

Has anyone ever had this issue and is there a way to resolve it?

    Thank you

I get this annoying bug on my torch where music/podcasts would randomly turn off! Its so annoying and hitting the mute key does not start the audio back up again. The only way to start it up again is to go through the music/podcast app find the item and restart it from there.

Anybody else have this issue? Are they related?

Listen carefully - i don't think they're actually off - but they may as well be as the sound is so low you probably can't even hear it... I've had this happen to me.

Yes the song volume drops (but not off), I guess they think you are changing the song so it does it automatically. I don't like it.

Ah ha!!! Its the Battery Boost App causing the problem. Deleted it and it worked.

Confirmed. I also removed the Battery Boost app and it resolved the issue.

This is sad though as I liked that app.

Anyone can suggest another battery app that will not affect volume?

Kudos to jrestivo for figuring this out.
