Wife has a 3Gs, I've had BB's for several years now, and I've observed the same thing. So one must ask, is AT&T as crappy as everyone thinks, or are they getting a bad rap because of all those iPhones out there with crappy reception? Not trying to slam the iPhone, it's a great device. The wife absolutely loves hers like I love my Torch. I just hear a lot more people with iPhones complaining about AT&T's coverage than those with other phones.
As for my Torch, going on 3 weeks and still loving it more every day.
having own iphones and comparing it with other phone..
i think it's a hardware problem... so people should be blaming Apple and not AT&T.
from experience.. i never got a dropped call with my Motorola Razor..
but with my iphone 3GS... it was a Norm.. 1-2/week especially on a weekday
I got mine on launch day and sold it a month later. I loved the phone and the formfactor but I knew I was guaranteed to break it. It was super delicate for my taste. I'll get the next one if it's a bit tougher.
