Messaes > Option > Inbox Management, uncheck the text messages box. Save you changes and exit the menu.

Did that and its still doing it. I even canceled my yahoo email off of my phone and reinstalled it and its still doin it

Post a pic of that area. Something is either corrupt or you have a 3rd party app changing it back.
