My brother has the torch and he has mentioned it has been running sluggish on him. I've done some battery pulls on it are there any other suggestions, tips, tricks?

Mine ran sluggish with a certain app. I reloaded the os and she ran rock solid afterwards.

I'll check when I see him next. I don't believe he's upgraded. I know he also had problems with app world crashing.

Upgrade to .246 or .337 and you should be good, unless it's a crappy app causing it.

It could also be apps running in the background. What apps does he have installed and what apps are running when this happens?

Go to options > device > app management. Swipe once to the right and watch for a bit when this is happening to see what app is taking up all the cpu time.

Either on the stock OS(.141) which we all know by now is rather sluggish, or a crappy app running. press and hold the BB button to see whats running, otherwise upgrade the OS if still running .141.

7% right now and has a loading bar. No apps running at all. Just OS, and options. OS is up to date.
