Just to let everyone know this isn't a another screen wobble thread haha. But actually my batter cover is slightly looser than when I first got my phone. I was wondering what could cause this and if there is anything I could do to help this

One of my 9000's had that issue and a common trick was to place a business card behind it.

Mine does not have that issue but take the battery cover off and try line up the grooves on each side between the phone and cover. Push the cover shut. If this doen't work and you are in your 30 day window, exchange it.

I had the same loose battery cover issue - you can fix it quite easily yourself...

On the back of the phone at the bottom there are to rectangular slots with a notched divider running through the middle... place a flat head screwdriver on the inside of the slot and twist the notched divider towards the outside edge of the phone... replace the cover and voila you should have a tight cover again...

I figured it had something to do with those notches but I don't understand what you mean by "twist the notched divider towards the outside edge of the phone"

What are those holes supposed to be for anyway? Is this the purpose they're supposed to serve? I was always curious about them.

This was an amazing tip to fix a very minor (but annoying) flaw. The back cover is rock solid now. Thanks for the tip; I learn so many things here.

For sure a great tip but I must have expanded the slots too much as I could not remove the cover afterwards. So I tried to slip the tip of a sharp knife to get a nail's grip on the top edge and dumb me the knife slipped out and scratched the edge and down...so careless .

I guess there is no way to remove or lessen the scratch?

[How much to replace the cover? ]

Easiest way is to just buy a skin that will cover it up.
