    I ordered mine through Retentions on launch date and got my confirmation email from them at 09:45am that day, but have not received any sort of UPS or Canada Post Email

    Has anyone ordered through retentions?
    For the people that got their phones already, how did you order your Torch? online? calling in? Retentions?

    Sitting here patiently, waiting for my Torch....I'm so ready for it!

    I was about to do that - thank God I decided to let my store handle it, since I figured they would have more clout than me. I was lucky - right decision!

    i ordered mine on friday, and recieved my confimation email about the orderwithin 5 minutes, im going to hope they already shipped it out, and i just didnt recieve a shippment confirmation (y)
    hopefully it comes within the next 2 hours (then UPS stops delivering) or tomorow at the latest :S

    Rogers is so dam frustrating...

    I called and asked for tracking number - nothing yet in the system. I ordered on launch date 09:30am EST. My friend ordered at the same time from work, and he got his today, about 1 hour ago. So I asked the rep, how is it that one person gets their phone, and mine hasn't even apparently been shipped out yet?
    He did not give me an answer and just fed me launch date crap. I said nobody is buying this phone, you have TONS of stock, he just fed me client services crap.

    Tell me why am I paying $200 for a phone and $50 for my cell and $100 for my cable and $50 for internet to a company that is so *** backwards?


    Oh well, lets hope he's wrong and I get a surprise delivery today

    Business Relation did not do anything for me I have 9 cell lines with Rogers and they told me i cant get the torch i have to wait 2 years before i can get another upgrade. My revenue on my account is very high i spend $1000 a month for there service. I just bought 4 torch's out right and spend $2,600 :S . My last upgrade was May of 2009. Has anyone done an early upgrade to get the torch or have you just waited the 2 years before you got your upgrade for the torch ?

    I have 2 months left to hit the 1 year mark of my 3 year contract. My last upgrade was November 27th 2009...I went from the 9000 to the 9700 (which was also an early upgrade). I upgraded to the Torch Friday with customer relations for $199.99 + $35.00 admin fee ($265.50 with taxes).
    Waiting patiently for it to arrive via UPS!
