I just don't wanna get one with a wiggle, or buttons that fall off...... How would I warranty one I bought off ebay?

Working at a Rogers dealer cell phone shop for the past five and a half years has gotten us some friends down at Rogers. One of their reps showed me a memo saying we'd start offering them on the 16th.

Got curious today while at work and didn't want to be providing false info to everyone on here so I called up my friend and it's now a September 24th, 2010 confirmed. They should release info about the release date in the first week of September !

I heard from a friend of a friend who's a Rep that Rogers will be Sept 15th and Telus a month or so after. Take if for what you will though as no announcement has been made officially.

Our entire work staff wants to replace their 9700's with Torch's and the Rogers rep who we deal with for our Corporate Accounts said they'd all be getting them on Sept 15th.

My buddy just got a torch while he was down in arizona.

Came over and I'm posting from it right now!

While its not as fast or slick as the iphone 4. It's still a blackberry and its awesome!!!

I think realistically it's the 20th - 24th timeframe.
Any earlier would be a godsend but realistically I say mark your calenders for mid September release dudes.

i bought the torch on launch day in buffalo.. it was great! but i didn't want to risk not having warranty.

the phone was good (no wobble etc etc etc) but it still made me feel uneasy!

so i sold it! so i got my torch fix, just really missing it now.. but the 9700 is still awesome to use! : >
