There's another post in another Rogers thread saying "SPOILER" and something to the effect that he has a "confirmed Aug 23 release date". I think it's all just babble at this point and we just have to sit-tight and hope Rogers comes out with some info.

i got my screen protector, cradle, case, and much more on the way, now just need the device... come on rogers... how long does it take to certify a device? i mean AT&T has one of the strictest certification in the industry (for the most part) yet they have it out....
Nothin' yet. I called again just to make sure and the rep knew that I called before to ask about it - then she politely said to me 'We have made a note on your account that you're very interested in this device.'
Went into my local rogers plus 2 days ago as my 9700 was stolen I asked the rep there he told me 3 blackberry devices would be released this month, the curve 9300 the torch!!! In 2 3 weeks and an another unkown device

I'm hoping that BlackBerry fixes this phone with all the problems its having and the price cut , add a faster processor, better screen, 4g, all that good stuff. Call it the Torch 2. And have that debut in Canada to Rogers.

That would just be the biggest kick to teh junk ever. Buy a phone, then a better version with big upgrades comes out a week later in canada....
Everybody that bought last week would convert theirs to phone bombs and mail them to rim.
I talked to a rogers rep today and made it very clear that I wanted to know at least when it was releasing and the rep on the phone said to me that it would be releasing end of September.
Now I know on the previous page a guy said his store said a couple of weeks but I don't wanna get my hopes up.
Rogers hurry the **** up you *******.
If Telus releases this phone before you guys, so help me I will switch to them.
