It could be middle to end of September. Bell's announcement says that its coming this fall. First day of fall is September 22-23... The iPhone 4 was just released in Canada 4 days ago. They will probably let that sell for a while before they release a new phone

Im going to guess an August 12th release date for this device. I would not be surprised at all to see Rogers launch it the same day as AT&t. After all, Rogers has almost always been the first to launch new RIM devices.

T-Mobile has the same frequency as WIND Mobile and I think Mobilicity. Keep your eye on those two carriers if you want to unlock this phone for the US. I don't think they're getting the phone though.

Late September wouldn't be considered "the coming weeks", at least not in my opinion. The article I posted states the 14th of August, but who knows their sources. I think it'll be released this month, but that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

No one knows for sure, could be Aug 12th, Sept, oct, or somewhere inbetween that... No one knows but the higher ups at rogers so until Rogers says when (or does a silent release) then there is no point to listening to ppl "guess"

I agree, that Sept is not "in the coming weeks" and i hope more than anyone that we can pick this thing up in Canada next week but this is really the only thing that is contrary to the late Sept that all the sources are stating... I cant wait that long!

I was thinking the same thing but the only problem is that your call display won't work and it won't be on the 3G network. Edge speeds is all you'll get.

i think your confused the storm and the torch... at&t uses the same frequencies as rogers.

and you'll still get call display. It doesn't matter what phone. You might not get name display though. Not exactly sure.
