The word TORCH on the back looks horrible. The Canadian phone looks much better. The AT&T comes loaded with .141. The Canadian one with .246. They weigh the same. These are identical phones folks.
the weight of both the models is same as per the specifications mentioned on their websites. all the dimensions look quite similar except their length. The length of rogers phone is 111 mm (4.37 inches), whereas that of at&t is 5.83 inches (148.1 mm). The rogers website doesn't mention the display size but I don't think that would be different as they won't change the LCD (or they might).
Nope Only 2G or 2G and 3G.. Rogers has Option for 2G , 3G or 2G & 3G.
Anyone know why the Torch on ATT didn't give the extra option for 3G only?
I have an unlocked torch from ATT running on O2 network here in the UK and installed the official Rogers .246 software and i only get these network modes: 2g, 2g & 3g.
i want 3g only and don't want it switching between 2g & 3g by itself. Why didn't they put it? Does anyone know if i can somehow get the option of putting 3g only? (without doing the engineering screen way as that seems to be temporary)

WHen I used a Verizon BB, even though the phone had 3G, and my network had 3G, I was also only given the options 2G and 2G & 3G. My phone never went to 3G, only EDGE. A friend said it's because Verizon is CDMA and that's what happens when I bring a CDMA phone to a GSM network. COuld it be due to the network difference for you?

3G works fine here and the phone stays on it the majority of the time but sometimes likes to switch to 2G which i want to prevent.
