at&t torch is heavier it says Torch on the back of the device and slider is lifted when I slide it down. On the Rogers torch the device is lighter its unbranded and it says 5.0 Megapixel camera auto focus on the back. The slider is not lifted it smooth. There a reason why the design between rogers and at&t is different?

I didn't know this. have the AT&T one but I'm in Canada so of course I'm going for the Rogers one any day now . I'm hoping the difference is an improvement in the design. Rim often fixes their mistakes

did you happen to pick up the dummy phone at the store?
My only question would be - How can one be a defferent weight than the other? I highly doubt they're using different materials. I would love to see them side by side on a scale.

the weight of both the models is same as per the specifications mentioned on their websites. all the dimensions look quite similar except their length. The length of rogers phone is 111 mm (4.37 inches), whereas that of at&t is 5.83 inches (148.1 mm). The rogers website doesn't mention the display size but I don't think that would be different as they won't change the LCD (or they might).

I think the AT&T length is the opened length. I just checked my AT&T Torch and closed it is just over 4 1/4". Open it is just over 5 3/4".
yup they fixed their mistakes, canadian version shipping with .246!

On my AT&T Torch the slider is not lifted. It's smooth. No lift.
This is just a bunch of horse S#!t, it's the same phone. The difference is dimensions might be because one is open and the other closed. Stop making BS up. Can someone just confirm the OS on it, and not "apparently" or " someone said".

I hold both side by side they rogers one look different then the at$&t one!
The phones are identical. The only difference is markings. The Rogers camera has 5MP stamped on it. The Torch is the Torch. There are not two different models. Where do you get this bs from?
i compared the 2 and at&t device felt a little heavier for some old reason :S , Thats kinda werid how At&t has Torch sample on the back and all canadian torch's say 5.0 MP lol.
