I dunno, I've heard that removing/changing the splash screen is kinda difficult.
There is a program (unreleased to the public therefore not allowed to be discussed)
that will do that. The caveat is that if you screw up you will permanently "brick"
your phone. The splash screen is hard coded and you MUST know what you are
doing to remove it.
My question, as it always has been, is why does this bother people?
More than likely because they're using the phone on a different network and it looks kinda weird if you're on T-Mobile and your phone says AT&T. Some people can be very anal about things like that.
Yeah, I guess. Simpler solution to my thinking however is to turn away for
what, 3 friggin seconds. Problem solved.:p
It actually doesn't bother me...the fact that it is only seen about 2-3 seconds isn't a big deal just like the ATT logo.
My thought was that if it could be done, someone has figured it out and what better place to learn about it than here.
The AT&T logo on the case can be easily removed with a copper coin. It will scratch off the logo without damaging the case.
What the .....? Have you even read what he/she was trying to get rid of?
Yes I know they were talking about the startup screen in the original post. But they also mentioned the logo.
Maybe you need to read the whole thread.
