Does anybody think that if I reload the operating system it might fix a keyboard problem as described in my other thread?

Quick long story short - My phone went for a swim and now is working fine except for the keyboard. When I pop the slider out the screen just goes black as if I hadnt been using my phone.

I'm just wondering if i might do more damage than good if I reload the OS?

Reloading the OS should cause no new damage. Fixing the keyboard is another matter. My bet is the OS will not affect the problem. But nothing ventured nothing gained. Seems ti me worth a try.

you can't damange your phone by reloading a os, you can brick it, but then you can unbrick it without problem (that's the beauty of blackberry).

Feel safe to reload your os (make sure you read how ;p), and if you hit any problem, feel free to ask us for any help.

    easy isn't it ?
