Folks!

Each time I receive a new email on my GMAIL inbox on the Torch, EVERY email I haven't opened on the phone is resent to it, so I can actually end up with several copies of such emails.

Once I open them, they are not longer re-sent to the TORCH. Already triend re-sending the Service Books, but to no avail.

Any ideas?

Did you turn the sync feature on when you setup the email?

Yes, I did turn it on.... Should I turn it off?

No sync should be on. I personally don't sync with my handheld, since I delete email on my phone but leave them on the server So i get them on my pc at home.

really have no idea why your getting the duplicate emails.

I recall having a similar situation a while back. Resolution 1 in KB10332 worked for me.

Thanks for your replies. On pure instinct I removed the GMAIL account, then recreated with SYNC only enabled with Calendar and contacts, leaving this settinf off for messages. This solved the issues!
