True. Nokia's don't require phones to be dropped on them, They shatter on their own.

Back on topic, Sorry to hear about it, A similar thing happened to my Storm when it had a 5 foot drop to hot concerete, Your damage looks reparable, however hopefully she'll like the Bold your setting her up with better!

What you can do now is...send the phone to the shop to get it repaired. Check if insurance can cover anything (at least try).
