Anyone having fit and fnish issues with their torch?

I got my white torch thru best buy (rogers) and I noticed later the plastic over the call/bb button is raised and not flush.

The slider is solid thank god.

Still got my 9780 and not giving that up

Even more interesting is I like the keyboard better on the torch. Interesting.

Would be interested to know if anyone else noticed build problems.

I had a Charcoal Torch for the first three weeks and the whole keyboard was very squeaky. I traded it for a white Torch about a week ago and everything is solid. No squeaking at all.
My white one was Made in Mexico while my charcoal one was made in Canada.
If you look through the forums you will notice that you are probably the 100th person to post something up about build quality.

My trackpad has a tiny little scratch on it, however I have a mostly solid slider (there is a bit of play on the trackpad side when closed, but it doesn't bug me.) so I'm tempted to just keep it, as I feel pretty lucky to have gotten a good device, with good fit and finish overall.

yes you are right...i should have looked thru the forums more. but i will keep it for now and if gets worse then i will take it back, have protection on it so any problems i can return and get a new one.

i still have my 9780 which i will keep for when i travel (for size and convenience) but for everything else i will use the torch.
