    Recently I have found that my Torch 9860 does not power off either with the power off button or the icon, it just goes to standby.

    When removed from it's protective holster or by pressing the power on button it immediately powers up - with no delay.

    Before there was quite a few seconds before the screen lit up - just like my Z10 which takes about 30 seconds to start from power off state.

    What has changed ? Anyone ?

    Check to see if you are pressing the button correctly, as in press and hold.
