If your Torch is creaking near the keyboard I may have a fix:

Remove the bezel in the area where it is creaking, perhaps a little more. Then snap it back into place. I used this fix and my phone is no longer creaks, so I suspect the creaking issue has something to do with the bezel.

Use caution however, this process could seriously damage your Blackberry bezel through this process.

When does this creaking noise tend to start? After a few months, days? Mine is only a couple weeks old but the only thing that makes noise is the hard case I put on it.

This is my third Torch, and the problem started shortly after I got it (the first one had software issues and second had a malfunctioning trackpad).

All three creaked, and they tend to either creeking out of the box or started shortly their after. If your's hasn't started to creek yet, then I think you should be okay.

I'm not going to say anything to jinx my Torch (probably that just did it )
But I think I've at least had to replace all my Smartphones at least once in the past. Fingers crossed.
