I'm planning on getting the Torch when Rogers finally gets around to releasing it...
I saw this pic here of a popunder notification on the Bold 9700 http://tamsblackberry.tamoggemon.com...readed-sms.jpg
and I was wondering if the Torch had something similar? Would it be possible to have a popunder notification appear on the home screen when you get a text mesasge for quick viewing? Also is the notification selectable, or do I still have to manually go view the SMS.
I really like the simple, unobtrusive notification system on the Palm Pre (http://blog.travisbailey.org/wp-cont...tification.jpg) and was wondering if I could recreate that on the Torch.
That popunder notification shows up when you're in the middle of texting someone...say on yahoo instant messenger. I use it a lot, I can't remember if the notification happens when it's not someone from my contacts, but a regular text message from someone's phone.
Thanks for the reply. Can you select the notification or is it just kinda static, disappearing after a while?
I'm assuming that on the home screen the notification won't appear? I was hoping for a way to quickly check the content of a text message (like the iPhone) without having an intrusive popup notification (again, like the iPhone)
