sorry if this thread is redundant but im having no success installing os v .337 i download after removing old dm version .246 but when installing new software prompts for device pin and system doesnt recognize or list any device and install freezes there, running windows vista

You've already wiped the device and you're installing using Loader?

I disagree. Sometimes there actually is a need.

OP, is it asking for a device password or the PIN of the device. The PIN of the device should be in a drop down menu. If you are getting a prompt it should be asking for a device security password. They are 2 seperate things.

OP:

If it's asking for your device PIN, think of the pin you use for BlackBerry Messenger.
If it's asking for a security PIN, think of the password you use when you "Password Lock" your BlackBerry keypad/screen.
