I'm hoping someone with more experience will be able to shed some light on this one.

I had the notification bug with .246 and it was gone for the first few hours I was running .337, then it re-appeared. Last night I wiped my BB and re-installed .337 without restoring my data. Notification bug gone.everything worked fine. Then I re-stored all my stuff and there was the bug again. Just to be sure I went through this process a second time. Same results. It seems that the 'bug' is being carried over from a messed up setting in the re-store part of the OS change.

Any ideas on what it could be, or more importantly what I shouldn't re-store to keep notifications working?

This is why I do a selective backup of just my phone book. I keep nothing on my phone that i actually NEED, everything I want to keep is either on my SD card or backed up somewhere else. So when things like this happen, I simply just reload the OS with only my phone book restored, then redo all my own settings. Pain in the *** I know to re download all the apps and re due all your settings.

I think I may try your approach. Back up my contacts and then start fresh...
