For some reason, my data has not been working today. I can not send/receive emails and, while at my house, my torch will not join my home network. I've tried a hard battery pull and I've tried resetting with alt+aA^+del and it's still not working. I can not send receive emails or texts for some reason. It was working fine this morning and then it just quit.
this happened to me. I ended up having 5 different torches within 3 weeks. I think it was because of the apps i was downloading, they werent prepared for the 6.0 software, also connecting it to wifi for a long time or on a network with alot of different devices on it can cause problems. GO SWAP IT OUT! and tell them to give you a new sim card as well.
OK. I wiped my system... well, I really just "upgraded" to .225 and it wiped the system for me... and now I'm back in business with everything except BeWeather. However, one thing I noticed was that when I tried to reconnect to my home's WiFi, my homes WiFi needed to be reset because my computer would let me access certain functions of the actual WiFi system (to access my key). So, I wonder if our WiFi systems may actually be causing the issue somehow? I've seen (in the other BIS thread) many mentions of WiFi causing this, but more directed towards it being a RIM issue, but I wonder if the issue could somehow be starting on the WiFi side and then ending on the BB side.
What brand of router are you using? I have a NetGear and use the "push button" method to connect. No issues with Wi-Fi.

After installing .225, it's working well now. I will be home all day today, then heading out in the morning. If leaving my router in the morning does it again, I'll be heading to ATT.
