New Torch User - Few Quick Questions
Hello all,
Just got the Torch and coming from a 9700. I wasn't planning on getting the torch just yet, but after a long bout with AT&T I was offered the upgrade and took it. I just have a few quick questions to you all with the torch and beings I am OCD with my Berry's, I just want to make sure this isn't an issue and if it is I would like to take care of it now. So I come to my fellow Crackberryians for your wisdom to see if its the phone or am I crazy haha!
First impression of unpacking and using I think the Torch is pretty solid, I do not have any wiggles, the slider is pretty tight, but one of the things that I noticed is that on the front screen where the keys are the right side isnt really flush, I.E if I run my finger down the front screen to the keys I hit a bit of a lip, don't get me wrong, its not real outrageous but its only on the right side, almost if that part that covers the end key etc is about to pop off.
I also noticed a bit of a sound when the bottom key area is touched, almost like a sticky sound as if it is going to peal off. Are any of you having or noticing these things?
Also wanted to see if any of you had gotten a case for it yet? I just purchased the mobi store one and I have to try it again today, yesterday I didn't have much of a chance to play with it, but when I put it on, the back part didn't really seem to stay on it on the left side. So I am going to see today if I didn't have it on correctly. But if you are using a case, what kind are you using or what would you recommend? As well as screen protectors too, I would like to get one, but I just want one for the screen not the whole phone itself.
If you are using the social feed with RSS, is there a way to delete the ones you already have seen? If you don't delete them, does it hog up memory?
Also is there a way to highlight all when going to messages from the closed front screen to delete or does that only happen when you have it open and use the keyboard?
Thank you for reading and look forward to hearing back! Have a great one!
