Just walked out of the AT&T store with new Torch in hand. The first thing I did was make sure all my apps were working, then it was time to upgrade from 6.0.0.141 to .225 and after a few batter pulls... WOW!!!. Keep in mind I didn't really do anything with it prior to updating the OS, but everything went very smooth and I can't wait to put it to the test. That being said, I also have a lot to learn about this device. I had a 9700 for a while and was very comfortable with it, the Torch is an entirely different experience. I'm looking forward to learning the ins and outs of it. Any and all feedback, tips and tricks are welcome. Thanks.
One of the first things I did was turn off the search for everything but contacts, emails and Google. So nice to not have to open the browser and type for a business name, as well as search all emails from a certain sender. I don't like everything pulling while I type in a something.
Options -> Device -> Search and de-select what you want. This is the best tech community out there if you have questions just ask. Well... search first, then ask.
Congratulations for getting the Best Blackberry so far... The good news is it's just the start. With more developers going into the OS 6 platform we can expect Newer apps anytime soon.

The touchscreen, the trackpad and QWERTY keyboard can be used in numerous combinations to enhance the overall device experience especially the web browsing. The pinch to zoom, double tap, swiping, and tabbed browsing are great. The menus have been tweaked to include more customization options as well as the social media integration. Please give the Torch a thorough bashing for at least the 30 day window and enjoy. If you get stuck, there is always someone to help and don't feed the trolls.
